An Alabama woman plead guilty to attempted murder after being accused of the kidnapping and stabbing of a man. Shalyn Diaz lured Matthew Angelino to a fake date back in January. She has entered a guilty plea the day her trial was set to begin in June. Diaz was fined $1,000 and given a ten-year jail sentence by Judge William Filmore. At a hearing set for August 14, her attorneys will present their case for a reduced sentence. Diaz and her co-conspirator, Robert Lane Hall, were arrested in January 2024 for the incident.
