For generations, sharing a marital bed was non-negotiable. Separate sleeping quarters spelled impending doom for couples in the court of public opinion. But recently the tables have turned on this restrictive paradigm. A rapidly rising renovation trend now sees spouses purposely partitioning master suites, consciously crafting his and hers bedroom oases. Behind closed doors, 20% of couples slumber contentedly in different beds. And progressively, stigma gives way to understanding customized sleep needs.
